Indeed Law is a Business.
However, over the years there has been some gaps in the operations of many Law firms who regard Law more as a Practice than as a Business.
Law Practice is part of the Law Business.
Hitherto ,many Law firms have always overlooked Business Development ,Marketing,Sales ,Branding,Customer Relations,Business Management as an integral part of the Law Profession.
This has led to the collapse of many Law firms or the lack of growth in the Business of the Law Firms.
It is this gap that Strictly Law Business Academy (SLB) has come to bridge.
It is indeed the Premier Business Academy for Lawyers who desire to grow their businesses like any other thriving business.
The main promoter of this initiative is Busola Ajala a lawyer, entrepreneur and a motivational speaker.
I am currently participating in the maiden Business Academy programme of SLB which runs from 4-6th July 2019(3days) in Lagos.
The programme has been an eye opener and the first day has been filled with diverse exchange and teachings on the business side of Law.
Ignaz Fuesgen (from Johannesburg, South Africa), an experienced Consultant in Business of Law in Africa and Europe, took us through various aspects of Business development ,Pricing ,Billings,Business Canvas and Models required by Law Firms to be profitable and distinguish themselves in today’s Marketplace .
The next few days promises to be exciting and fulfilling.
